A : Brodie Group Ltd was formed by Paul and Gordon Brodie in 1989.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: There are no fees whatsoever and we pay £500 towards your legal fees.
Q: Do I need a solicitor?
A: You will need a solicitor to ensure that all legalities are carried out in a correct and professional manner, we will pay in full towards your legal costs on completion of the purchase of the property.
Q: My property needs updating and is in poor condition - does this matter?
A: No - we often buy properties which require updating and modernisation.
Q: If I have a valuation/survey and decide not to sell immediately, how long will your offer remain open?
A: Our offer will remain open for 30 days, after which we retain the right to review the offer.
Q: What kind of properties do you buy?
A: Freehold or leasehold flats or houses in any state of repair.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Usually 7-10 days to exchange. Our fast acting solicitors can arrange contracts to secure the sale for you and complete at any time or up to 6 months later if required.
Q: Do you carry out a structural survey?
A: Not usually as it would delay the process. Our valuers are normally able to asses the property, but in extreme circumstances a private surveyor would be used within our consideration period.

A: Each property is different but we usually pay between 80-90% of the achievable market value that could be expected from an estate agent.
Q: Do you buy property with sitting tenants?
A: Yes - even if they do not pay rent.
